[전북대학교 창업지원단, 글로컬 30] JBNU Opens Door for International Students to Start Business

JBNU serves as a global university for leading startups, supporting international students residing in the region in starting their businesses. On September 18th and 19th, the Startup Support Center at JBNU hosted Global Inbound Start-up Idea Camp as part of the regional mutual prosperity project under the Glocal University 30 project. About thirty international students residing in Jeonbuk-do, who aspire to start their ventures, participated in the camp. It offered various information about starting a business in South Korea. Participants received training on the global business environment and the domestic business ecosystem, idea embodiment and business plan development, as well as guidance on business visas and relevant laws. Additionally, they took part in mentoring on business model creation and initial marketing strategies. Through this camp, JBNU aims to foster promising international business teams and plans to offer opportunities to secure funding by hosting an exposition.
